Eleanor Sheehan qualified with a degree in Architecture from DIT Bolton St in 2001. She then worked for a year on the prestigious Scotch Hall development in Drogheda for Douglas Wallace Architects. After this she spent three years with Meehan Levins Partnership in Arklow working on various domestic and commercial projects.
Eleanor established Eleanor Sheehan Architects in 2006 and works as a sole practitioner. This affords clients the opportunity to work with their Architect on a one-to-one basis and ensures that their exact requirements are met. The practice specializes in one-off house design and extensions,The practice is fully registered with the RIAI and services include surveys of existing houses, sketch design, planning permission drawings, 3-d drawings, tender and construction drawings as well as periodic site inspections. Emphasis is placed on creating buildings that are designed specifically for the site on which they are located and which maximize natural daylight. Sustainability is also a core element of each design.
