Extension Knockanree

The existing house was dated and required modernisation. The attic space did not have sufficient head height and the existing rooms were small with low ceilings. All of the windows had to be replaced and the old-fashioned bay window to the front was removed. The proposed design involved raising the roof and a small extension was added to the front that maximised the views of the valley beyond. An interesting feature is the juliette style balcony on the first floor. The finished is a contemporary home which looks fantastic.
